Very Dirty Van
Chris took some of the boys on our High Adventure Camp this year and he drove about or over 2000 miles. They had a lot of fun and I will have to have him post his adventures later. With dirt roads and dirty boys the van you can guess came back very dirty. We are talking dusty dirt in every cranny along with bug guts and a lovely smell of boys that have not taken a shower!!!! Chris has not had a chance to clean it yet with work and all. GRHHHHHH!!!! So I decided to take the day today to give the van a nice cleaning. Needless to say it did take me the whole day!!! Most of it working on the inside of course. I am happy to say that it is gleaming now. I did not take any pictures. SORRY! The kids had a lot of fun helping and they kept saying " Daddy is going to be so proud of us" "We are cleaning so good" It was fun to watch them be so excited to serve their Dad!

In God We Still Trust
The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate Resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every Time they perform it! Everyone who loves America should be Thrilled to hear this song! I really liked it! I have never put a video clip on here before so hopefully this will work. Thank you mom for sharing it with me!!!

It Never Fails
Why is it that when your husband is gone that things seem to go wrong. Chris is gone for 8 days to High Adventure Camp and he needed to drive so he took the reliable car of course and left us his Toyota. I needed to run some errands while Alyssa was at a birthday party. When we went to leave Target I put the key in the ignition and crack!!!!!! The key split in half inside the ignition. I tryed to fit it together praying that I could just start it to get home. It did not work. Luckily our friends the Schooley's came to the rescue and got it to start. The only problem is that you have to hot wire it to start since part of the key is still in the ignition. We got a ride to church today and the Schooley's were nice enough to let us borrow their car for the week which we are eternally grateful for. So, thank you Schooley's you are a lifesaver.
